Filing Dates for Additional Veterans' Exemption The application period is from February 1st to October 1st. Applicants must re-file every other year and provide the following documentation:
ENTIRE Federal Income Tax Return.
Social Security 1099 form.
If you are not required to file a tax return, you will need to provide documentation of ALL income. Gross income is considered for all our programs. (Veteran Disability income is not considered for Veteran Programs).
Exemption: Up to 10% off the assessed value of your property (real or MV) with a maximum benefit of $10,000
